PLC / SCADA
Typical PLC's that we use are described below:
- Allen Bradley PLC5, SLC500, ControlLogix, MicroLogix
- Mitsubishi FX-Series, A-Series and Q-Series
- GeFanuc
- Modicon Telemecanique
- Siemens S7
Typical HMI/Scadas we use are described below:
HMI Terminals
- Allen Bradley PanelView
- Mitsubishi E-Terminals
- Telemecanique Magelis
SCADAs
- IPCE iControl System
- Intellution
- Cimplicity
For larger systems, we would network the PLC's / SCADA's using a variety of comms. We would also set up a network of PCs which would display the appropriate sections of the plant graphically. These PCs would include graphics to display the process, alarms, forces and control pages. There would also be access to engineering parameters. Passwords and security privileges can be set up to limit operator access.
Currently we can communicate to an array of networks. A selection of the more common networks we regularly encounter are:
- RS232
- DH485
- DH+
- DeviceNET
- Ethernet
- Profibus
- CC-Link
